Google has announced that they are now rolling out an updated version of Android Ice Cream Sandwich for some of the Nexus and Xoom branded devices.
The latest version is Android 4.0.4 and they are releasing it OTA for UMTS/GSM Nexus S, Xoom Wi-Fi, and HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus devices.
Google said that the update would take a couple of weeks. Some of the Nexus S users would of course get it for the first time as Google had stopped the previous update because of the battery related bugs.
Google said:
Some of you will be receiving Ice Cream Sandwich for the first time, while others will be receiving an update to your existing Ice Cream Sandwich experience with stability improvements, better camera performance, smoother screen rotation, improved phone number recognition and more.
