Google has updated their Android Platform Versions chart.

Gingerbread remains the most popular version on Android powered devices. 55.8% of Android devices are running a build of GB.

Ice Cream Sandwich is now the second most popular version with 23.7% of the devices running on it.

Jelly Bean was released couple of months ago and as usual, it is only being used by 1.8% of all Android devices.

Around 12.9% devices are still stuck on Android Froyo build. 3.9% devices are running even older versions of Android platform.

Around 1.9% of Android based devices are on Honeycomb which was released only for Tablet PCs.
