Online sources are indicating that Google has submitted a mobile version of Chrome for the Apple iOS platform.

The company would probably be using the Apple Safari browsing engine because third party engines are not allowed on iOS.

Apple Safari on iOS is already a massively capable browser with a powerful rendering engine.

Google just needs to provide a Chrome user interface with integration with Chrome Sync.

Remains to be seen how much flexibility Google gets with their own browser app for the iOS platform.

Google Chrome is already available in beta for Android devices though it require Ice Cream Sandwich edition.
