François Beaufort has some more exciting news for the users of Google ecosystem of apps and services.

He has revealed that Google would soon offer Google Drive as a default app that would be preloaded on Chrome installations.

For existing installs, Google Drive would be a default app on new profiles. This is in addition to some other Google apps that are already installed:

Gmail
Google Search
YouTube

This alone should get more people to check out Google Drive platform. Google needs this considering SkyDrive would be deeply integrated in Windows 8 and Office 2013.
