Motorola recently announced their Razr I smartphone that would ship with an Intel processor inside. But Intel processor is already powering a couple of smartphones which are sold in select markets like India (Lava Xolo X900 for example).

Google has good news for the owners of these devices. They have released a version of Chrome that is compatible with these smartphones.

Google said:

The Chrome team is happy to announce the availability of Chrome for Android on Intel x86 devices, which means that if you have an Android device based on x86, you’ll now be able to experience the speed, security, and simplicity of Chrome. Chrome 18.0.1026311 is now available for download on Google Play and from the Google Play Store on your Intel x86 based mobile device.
