Google Chrome set to get a Metro edition for Windows 8
Online sources are reporting that Google Chrome is set to get a Metro version for Windows 8 testers.
The company is expected to roll out support for the Metro UI in a future dev channel build.
Google however would not be supporting Chrome in the Windows RT edition of Windows 8 because of the limitations set by Microsoft.
Mozilla has already spoken a lot against these restrictions which would result in Internet Explorer 10 becoming the exclusive browser on Windows RT based devices.
It remains to be seen if Microsoft would be forced by the regulatory bodies to open Windows RT platform to other browser developers.
