Google is now nearing the acquisition of Motorola Mobility as they have received the go-ahead from Chinese authorities.

The deal could be completed in a matter of days now and Google would then become a proper hardware manufacturer!

Google had announced the deal couple of months ago largely to boost their patent portfolio.

Motorola Mobility is involved in manufacturing of mobile devices and set top boxes.

Google has said it several times that they are not going to interfere in Motorola Mobility’s day to day working and the company would function practically independently.

Consumers however want them to push Motorola to launch better Android devices especially phones loaded with stock Android experience!
