Online sources are reporting that Google has completed their acquisition of the travel brand Frommer.
This deal was revealed few weeks ago and was confirmed by publisher John Wiley & Sons.
The financial details are not out though Google is expected to have paid around USD 25 million for this deal.
Frommer is a big name in the travel industry and this acquisition would further boost Google’s own database of reviews and other information.
Google has been expanding into various verticals. They acquired Zagat a while ago to get similar data related to restaurant reviews and ratings.
