Google is rolling out some major enhancements to the sharing and notifications feature on their Google+ platform.

There are three updates that are being rolled out right now:

This one is nice. You can now tell Google+ to send you notifications of any updates posted by a specific circle.

While sharing a new post, you can now tell Google+ to send an email notification to the selected circle/people.

You can now mute accounts from sending you notifications about their shares. These shared posts would still appear in your stream.
