Google Drive launch could be just hours away as a lot of Google account holders are reporting that the free storage on their Google Docs account has been boosted to 5GB.

Google Docs offered 1GB free storage until now. Users were able to get more by paying for extra storage.

I have a paid storage account (80GB) and Google Docs shows me 87GB available.
