Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt has been quoted as saying that they have not yet submitted a mobile app for Google Maps for the Apple iOS 6 devices including the new iPhone 5.

He did say that they are in constant talks with Apple. Though a launch date is still not revealed.

Apple users meanwhile are still struggling with Apple Maps on their new devices. Hackers are trying to get the older Google Maps app working on iOS 6 loaded devices. For now, users can either wait or get third party solutions.
