Google has expanded their Gmail and Google field trial with a bunch of new services.

The field trial was launched recently as an opt-in feature for the users of Google.com in English language in some countries.

It allowed the users to get results from their Gmail accounts right on their Google search result pages.

The idea was to show relevant results from recent mails when the user searches for something on Google.

This program is now much more elaborate. If you opt in:

You would get results from both Gmail and Google Drive on Google.com

You would get results from Google Drive and Google Calendar on Gmail
