Google has updated their Google+ Follower Widget for their Blogger based blogs.

Users now get a preview while generating the code for their blogs. They can also resize the widget and change background colors.

Google said:

Today we have two updates to make the Google+ Followers widget for Blogger even better. First, we’ve added a preview so you can see how it looks before adding it to your blog. Second, you can now resize the widget and set it for different blog background colors, so it looks better on custom templates.

Too bad, Google offers a different widget for third party sites which is not as pretty. It also has many more restrictions.
