Google Plus gets a font size change and it is a major botheration

Google seems to have changed the font size on their Google+ platform. This update is not good because the font size is now smaller which makes it hard to read the text content on the platform.

I am not the only one who noticed this change… Thomas Baekdal managed to take shots of the older format and the new format:

Looks like Google is trying to accommodate more content above the fold. But this is definitely not the way to go about it!

Frankly speaking, it would be nice to have text format controls on the Google+ network. Give us font face and size options and let people decide it for themselves!

And I was wondering why posts and comments are suddenly smaller and I’m having a hard time to read them without changing anything on my system and with seemingly nobody being able to confirm that it’s not just my local issue. Wonder who thought this was a good idea and why did it only happen to so few of us…

Case Yeap. I actually checked Google Plus in multiple browsers to ensure that my Chrome settings were not messed up. Turns out it was definitely changed earlier today and it pains my eyes!
