Google might have hired the core developers working on HP webOS Enyo

Online sources are indicating that Google has made some hiring from Hewlett Packard.

The developers hired by Google were working on the webOS Enyo project which is part of open sourcing the webOS platform.

HP has not commented on the rumors but has stated that they are committed to the webOS open source project. The company said:

We’re pleased with the traction Enyo has gained to date and plan to continue its development along with the open source community. The Open webOS project is on schedule and we remain committed to the roadmap announced in January.
