Google has launched a new campaign to get more users to switch to their Google Play platform.
The company is specifically targeting users of Apple iTunes with this new campaign. They call it ‘Unlock your music with Google Play’.
Google Music Manager App can connect to user’s iTunes installation and upload all the songs to their Google Music account.
Google spoke about the functionality:
Sign in to Music Manager, choose where you keep your music and it starts uploading automatically. And when you add new music to your computer, Music Manager can automatically add it to your library too. You can upload 20,000 of your songs for free. Music Manager even adds your iTunes playlists and ratings so you can start listening to your favorites right away.
The music uploaded to Google Music is available on the web and through Google Android devices. Google is yet to launch an app for the Apple iOS devices though.
