Google has rolled out an update on their Google+ platform. This update improves the connectivity with Google Contacts.
You can now edit user details directly on Google+ from About section on user profile pages. This works with your circled people on Plus.
Google developer Sean Purcell spoke about this update:
Starting today, you can also edit these details directly in Google+. Just visit a buddy’s profile, click ‘About’, and add a birthday, an email address, or even a short note. Everything’s saved in Google Contacts, so your address book in Gmail and Android will be updated automatically.
