Google Maps 8-bit for NES: April Fool’s Joke?
We are 2 hours away from April 1 here in India and it is hard to say whether this is a joke or not. We are betting on a joke!
Google has announced the launch of Google Maps 8-bit for NES. The company said that they are going to sell a cartridge that would connect to the internet and let you browse Google Maps on your NES console.
They have also launched an 8-bit version on the web edition of Google Maps. Cool thing is that even Street View feature is available in 8-bit.
In any case, this is a pretty elaborate joke that would have taken Google engineers pretty long to implement!
