Google has released a web based demo of their mapping service accessible from mobile devices.

The focus is mostly on their Android app which has just received a major update with indoor mapping support.

This web demo is powered with HTML5 technologies and is very nicely done.

Most of the features have existed for a long time though it can come handy for people who are not regular users of Google Maps.
