Google has added transit data for the Japanese region on their mapping platform.

Users can access bus directions and other details right on their Google Android devices.

The same data is also available on desktops through Google Maps web platform.

Google said:

Need bus directions in Tokyo? You can now get transit directions for bus schedules and routes in Japan on your browser and Google Maps for Android. It just might save you some time and effort, especially when carrying a giant present!
