Google has expanded the availability of their Google Maps Navigation technology on Android devices in nine more countries. These newly supported regions are:
United Arab Emirates
Saudi Arabia
Qatar
Lebanon
Kuwait
Jordan
Egypt
Bahrain
Algeria
This come days after Google launched the same platform in India. Support for Arabic language would however require a newer edition of Android operating system. It is good to see Google expanding this particular service in more markets as it helps them in competing more effectively against the Nokia Maps platform which would soon power all Windows Phone 8 devices.
