Yet another Google Navigation Bar test going on!

Google has not yet killed the black colored navigation bar. Some users are still getting the older black colored bar. Other users are getting the newer design which moves the apps into a dropdown.

Google however seems to be testing yet another variant of the black colored navigation bar.

This one could become the new default as it retains the single click access to most Google apps. The share and notification options have been moved to right of the search box similar to the new layout. End result is a hybrid of the two interfaces which would be easier to get used to by novice users.

GOS Blog highlighted that this new test uses the updated list of apps and is more spacious. You can play around with it right away by editing your Google cookie by following the steps mentioned at the GOS Blog.

Update: This design makes Google Plus a messy affair on large display sizes… Google left-aligns the top section which looks and feel awful to use on my 27″ display.
