Blogger mobile app got an update for Android platform yesterday. Google has now blogged about the new update. Apparently the app for Apple iOS devices has also been updated.

New enhancements:

Landscape support for composing posts
Sharing to Google+
Ability to view a scheduled post time
International support in 30+ languages
iPad support

Google said:

With that in mind, we just launched updated apps for both Android and iOS. The updated apps include a visual facelift and other features which make it easier for you to create and share — wherever your imagination runs wild.

Google’s Blogger is not the hottest blogging platform on the web today. A lot of people prefer WordPress or Tumblr over it. Powerful mobile apps are important to keep the users hooked to your platform. This is just the first step.
