Google Plus Photo Lightbox gets some updates

Google Plus developers have announced two updates to their photo sharing Lightbox feature.

Google recently made it easy to get access to the images from the lighbox. You could download the images to your computer easily.

They have now made following changes:

We no longer overlay comments over photos when you enter full photo mode. You can still see comments in this mode by hovering over the comment count.

We’ve made some optimizations so that photos fill even more of the screen.

The first update is nice as a lot of people complained about comments blocking the image in the full screen mode.
