Google guys have renamed the official Google Plus brand page for Google Photos as #photography.

They spoke about the decision:

Yo photogs, gearheads, and light painters! We’re re-launching our +#photography page with a new name and renewed focus on all things photography: resharing fantastic photos and spotlighting photographers from the Google+ community, announcing local photowalks happening across the globe, and posting the photos news we can all geek out on. If you’ve got suggestions for stories we should reshare, +mention our page or post a link in the comments below. Have fun, make friends, and add more photos!

#photography is a great name to have but it would cause confusion with regular folks on the network who would not be able to identify it as an official page of a Google product.
