Google Plus mobile app on Android allow users to automatically backup photos from their phones to their online account.

This feature is called Instant Upload. Google is now promoting this feature on the dashboard through a new sidebar box named ‘Photos Taken Recently’.

This would come handy for new users who probably would have missed out on this functionality.

The feature lets you quickly view your recently clicked photos. You also get the ability to share them with friends and family.
