Google has allowed you to remotely install apps on your Android devices through the web based Google Play Store.

They have now extended this functionality. You now get the ability to update apps and uninstall them from a web browser.

This feature also works from mobile browsers.

Google Play Store has a section dedicated to your installed apps. You get to pick the device from what you want to remove the app.

Google warns that all associated data would also be deleted from the device if you use this way to uninstall an app.
