Ok, I know that this is a pretty mundane update but it still is an update from the Google Plus team!

Until now the red color notification box showed 9+ for the number of updates larger than 9. It seems to have been updated and users are now seeing double digit updates.

It is not clear how it would show an update figure larger than 99. Maybe one of you can help out with a screenshot?
