Google prepares a patch to prevent ban on Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Google is reportedly close to releasing a software patch for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus that would fix the issues connected to patent infringement allegations by Apple.

Google is expected to rollout this update immediately so that they can work with Samsung to prevent the ban on Galaxy Nexus smartphone in the US market.

Samsung has failed to get a stay on the ban as a Judge has ruled that the original ruling would be implemented.

Remains to be seen if Google and Samsung are able to avoid the ban by getting the patch approved by the US courts.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus is a crucial model for Google as they are selling it directly to consumers in the US market. It was the first smartphone to feature Android Ice Cream Sandwich update and it would be the first smartphone to get Jelly Bean update as well!
