Google Chrome Canary is now retina compatible for the new Apple MacBook Pro!

Google has already released retina compatible Chrome in Canary channel

Apple updated their MacBook Pro lineup with two new models loaded with high resolution retina display.

This meant that apps would have to update their UI with higher quality components otherwise they would look blurry.

Google Chrome was one such app and Google has already started working on it.

Google has in fact released a build of Chrome in the Canary channel that is compatible with the retina display on the new MacBook Pro.

This update should soon be available on the dev channel and eventually in the stable build as well.

Google said:

The Chrome Canary channel already shows the early results of this work, bringing basic high-resolution support to Chrome. We have further to go over the next few weeks, but we’re off to the races to make Chrome as beautiful as it can be.
