Mozilla has revealed that they are replacing Yandex with Google search in their Firefox browser as the default search engine option

Google would become the default search option in the future Firefox releases in the Russian market.

Yandex would continue to remain an option in the search box at the second position after Google.

Users would be able to switch to Yandex if they so desire with two clicks.

Yandex has announced that they would continue to offer their own customized Firefox builds with their search as the default option.
