Last week we saw reports of Reply to Comment feature coming to Facebook. Today, we are hearing about a similar feature coming to Google Plus.

M Sinclair Stevens has posted a screenshot of this button which is not yet available to everyone. Google is probably testing it with a limited audience.

Clicking on the button puts the name of the author of the comment in the reply box. Does not exactly look like threaded commenting as the comments stay in linear fashion.

There are also reports that a Share link option is also being tested. It might just be a permalink to that specific comment which is something I have wanted on Google+ for a long time now. Or Google Plus might do a Branch and let the user start a new post with that shared comment?
