Google Android 4.2.1 is officially the latest version of Android in the market. It is available on Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 devices.

Online reports are now claiming that Google is shipping the newer units of Nexus 4 with an unannounced build 4.2.2.

This build is not yet announced officially. If the reports are true, we might hear more about it in the coming days.

It is a minor update so no new features are expected. Google probably fixed a bunch of bugs in this update.

It is also not clear which of the existing models would get this update in the coming days.
