The new Google Search App for Apple iPad is pretty incredible
Google has launched a brand new version of their search app for the Apple iPad platform.
This update is pretty incredible as it pretty much brings the Google ecosystem to your Apple iPad. You can think of it as a version of Chrome OS that runs on top of the Apple iPad!
Features
Google Search is faster than ever before. It features both Google Instant and Google Instant Previews.
Clicking on search results load the page in a section on the right. You can continue searching while the page loads.
Image searching is now more intuitive. Clicking on a result opens it in a layer where you can go through all the other results.
The app also features a visual way to go through your entire Google search history in an intuitive way. You can stack your searches and organize them if you want to.
Clicking on a search result brings tons of new options. You can highlight the most important part on the search result based on your search query. You can give the pages a +1! Find relevant sites related to the one you are viewing.
In addition, the app also features a dashboard for all popular Google services which can be accessed quickly.
The app requires iOS 4 or better. We really really hope that Google brings a similar app to their Android platform as well. This is very well done.
