Google shifting all Docs users to Drive

Google has announced that all Docs users would get an alert about migration to Drive from now on.

Users can continue to retain the older look and feel of Google Docs for the near future but eventually everyone would be permanently migrated to Google Drive.

The company added:

When you upgrade to Drive, you’ll get access to new features, including desktop and mobile apps, powerful search and organization, and third-party apps that help you do more in the cloud. Just in case you’re not quite ready for change, you can click the “Temporarily use the old look” button on the pop-up message, but eventually all Docs users will be switched to Drive.
