Google has rolled out a powerful update on their Google Sites platform.

Google Site administrators can now change the layout of their projects in real-time.

Google spoke about this update:

Today we’re bringing layout editing right into your Google Sites. With the new in-place site layout editing, you’ll be able to edit elements of your site and see your changes in real-time.

Google Sites is a simple but very useful product for folks who are not comfortable running a self-hosted CMS platform. Users get the ability to run a Google Site on their own domain as well.
