Google Plus get static hangout links through events!

Google developer Chee Chew has just revealed that the newly added Google+ Events feature brings a much in demand functionality to Google+ Hangouts.

Hangouts created through Events now get static URLs which can be bookmarked and accessed at a later stage. This lets you connect with the same group of users in the future without creating a brand new hangout session.

When you create an event and add a hangout to it, the link to the hangout is immediately available to use, and will be valid through the event. So here’s the extra tip. If you have a recurring hangout. Let’s say you have a club that meets every week. If you create a hangout event set for next year, that hangout link is valid right now and every week. You can bookmark that hangout and have quick easy access to it week after week after week.
