Google Wave to shut down in a matter of hours!

Google Wave is currently in read only mode and should be discontinued in a matter of hours.

Google had revealed last year that they would discontinue the project in May. Users were advised to backup their important content before April 30.

May 1 has arrived and it might be a matter of hours before wave.google.com is redirected to some help page.

Google has already donated the project to Apache foundation. It now lives on as Apache Wave.
