Google working on enhancing semantic capabilities of their search engine

Google senior executive Amit Singhal has stated that the company would boost the semantic search capabilities of their primary product Google Search.

The company has worked on boosting their semantics database for around two years now.

This would help them deliver smarter search results in the coming months.

Google Search would be able to connect entities with each other properly which would allow it to come up with improved search results based on user’s keywords.

This also means that Google would be able to handle natural language searches which it currently struggles at.

With this, Google should become a solid alternative to computational search engines like Wolfram|Alpha.
