Bajaj has done what was considered impossible just a couple of years ago. Their Discover model is now outselling the Splendor model from Hero MotoCorp.

With this Bajaj Discover has now become the world’s bestselling motorcycle model.

Hero MotoCorp is of course no longer associated with the Honda brand which is probably a reason why consumers no longer prefer Splendor over the competition.

Bajaj Discover of course is also better equipped and has been updated regularly by the company with new features.

Remains to be seen how long Hero can maintain their leadership in the Indian market considering they are being attacked from all the angles. Honda has already announced that they want to take the top spot in the coming years.
