Hewlett-Packard not interested in ARM based Windows RT devices right now
Hewlett-Packard has revealed that they would not be launching ARM processor based Windows RT devices this year.
The company plans to focus on Intel processors for their Windows 8 devices in the near future.
Microsoft is scheduled to launch Windows 8 later this year. Windows RT is the version that would run on ARM based Tablets and similar devices.
Microsoft of course has showcased their self-branded Surface Tablet that would feature an ARM based processor. This appears to be their attempt to showcase that they have faith in this platform.
