Honda India shuts down production of City and Brio
Honda India has been forced to shut down production of their models City and Brio because of shortage of components due to floods in Thailand.
They are also going to face similar problems with Jazz in the coming days and its production might also get halted.
The company is currently working hard to get the parts from other markets like China and Japan to resume the production in India.
Honda said that they would continue to make small number of units to keep the plants operational in the meantime.
Honda India said: “We are looking at China and Japan very keenly. We hope to firm up things soon and return to normalcy in the coming months, though nothing can be confirmed as of now.”
