Online sources are reporting that Microsoft is working on a major UI overhaul of their Hotmail webmail platform.

The company is expected to switch Hotmail to a Metro layout that would feature tiles for different features.

There are some leaked images available online that shows the user interface under heavy development. It is hard to say if these are genuine.
