HTC has indicated that they are working on the Android Jelly Bean update for their current generation models like the One X and One S.

But there are indications that they would not roll it out on models with 512MB or less RAM. This include some recently launched models like HTC One V and HTC Desire C which are mostly aimed at the budget segment market.

This is a real shame considering devices capable of running Android Ice Cream Sandwich should comfortably run Jelly Bean edition which is mostly focused on performance improvements.

As usual, there are no promised dates for the delivery of Jelly Bean update for any of their models.
