HTC to offer TomTom powered navigation solutions in India!

HTC has partnered with TomTom to offer their GPS navigation solutions in the Indian market.

The two companies are likely to offer mobile apps with navigation support on HTC smartphones on same in India.

It is not clear if the service would be free on these devices. And whether HTC would also offer them to owners of their existing models.

The service is likely to offer maps, points of interest and turn-by-turn directions.

Nokia already offer fully capable GPS navigation service on their devices in India. MapmyIndia is a popular local service provider selling mobile and GPS solutions as well.

Good to see that HTC would also offer (likely to be free) fully capable GPS navigation solutions on their smartphones in India.
