HTC selling One S with Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor in some markets

HTC has admitted that they are selling a different variant of their One S smartphone in some Asian and European markets.

This version comes loaded with the Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor instead of the S4 variant which is on the original version.

Qualcomm is facing problems meeting with the supplies of the S4 processor which is causing a shortage in the market.

HTC on their part claims that consumers would not notice the speed difference but the fact remains S4 is a much better processor on paper and in real life.

Our suggestion to you is to ensure that the version you end up purchasing has the S4 processor and not the S3 one!
