Online sources indicate that HTC would launch their One series Android smartphones in the Indian market next week.
Soft launch could take place in the first week of April. Phones could go on sale by the second week of next month.
However, all the sources are indicating that One S might not make it to the Indian market. At least not in the near future.
HTC is expected to launch with One V and One X. Flipkart for example has product pages online for both One X and One V but the page for One S is missing right now.
Analysts believe HTC is delaying the One S launch to avoid cannibalizing the sales of their Sensation model which is now being sold at heavily discounted prices.
I am personally very interested in ordering the One S model. But if it is delayed, I would be forced to consider One X!
