Google has updated the Android Platform Versions page and it now shows that Android ICS edition is powering around 1.6% of all devices accessing the Google Android Market.
Honeycomb edition is powering around 3.3% devices. Gingerbread is currently the most popular edition with around 62% market share.
Android Froyo is at the second spot with 25.3% share.
This is not looking good for Google considering ICS has been out for around six months now. There are only a couple models on sale that comes preloaded with it today. Most manufacturers are selling devices that would get the ICS update in the coming weeks/months.
Owners of older devices would have to wait till the end of the year to get this update. Most of them would not even get ICS.
