IFTTT has added support for App.net on their automation platform.

Users can now connect their App.net account to their IFTTT profile.

This would allow them to automate publishing to and from their App.net platform.

App.net is pretty similar to Twitter right now and has seen thousands of backers who paid to support and join the platform.
