IFTTT continues to add support for more third party services on their automation channel.

They have just added support for the private messaging platform Moped. Users can now create recipes which include Moped as one of the channel.

Some example scenarios:

Send me the daily weather forecast over Moped!
Send daily Dilbert strips to yourself.
Sends a Moped to yourself if someone posts an Instagram pic with a certain tag
Send you a Moped message if people you follow on Tumblr have new posts
Sends you a Moped message if IFTTT updates.
Message me on Moped if it’s going to snow!
